e-kokoro! E-kokoro ( "kind heart " in Japanese) is a website run by the United People Corporation that enables anyone to easily get involved in charity work whenever they want, without any drain on their time or money. E-kokoro is based on an affiliate structure whereby members earn a fixed amount of fundraising points whenever they make purchases, request information or access websites. Each point is equivalent to ¥1 in funds, which can then be donated to designated NGOs. In addition to helping to recruit members for the E-kokoro scheme, ValueCommerce also donates half of the proceeds from E-kokoro shopping-based fundraising to NGOs through the scheme. |
